CA MARI:
The beach of Es Ca Marí is a stretch of approximately eight hundred fifty meters that is part of the extensive Migjorn beach, the longest in Formentera, with over four kilometers of coastline covering the entire southern area of the island.
This particular stretch is located in the southwest and is distinguished by the presence of numerous Posidonia banks in the sand and along the shore, carried by marine currents. Although the beaches tend to be small coves, they are very cozy and perfect for enjoying quiet days with the family.
If you are traveling with children, this beach is ideal, as it offers large stretches of sand where you can enjoy with the family, and the sea has calm waters. It is possible that this beach does not have lifeguard service for this reason.
Es Ca Marí is not limited to just the beach; it corresponds to an area located in the southwest of Formentera. Although Migjorn in general is not the most touristy area of Formentera, this is not a problem at all, rather the opposite. In fact, the islanders prefer this area precisely for its tranquility.
During the day, if you prefer not to wander too far, you can take a long walk along the more than four-kilometer promenade that runs along the entire coast.
